I created this mobile game in 2018, every asset in the project from the texturing, modelling, unrealblueprints, sound, gameplay and animation was all done by myself. The game was hosted on the googleplay store for over a year before costs of hosting forced me to take it down.
The gameplay was inspired by the rather simple game of Whac-a-mole with a number of extra modifiers to keep things more interesting, I developed it with a spooky theme for celebrating Halloween.
Pumpkins would change colour and speed of rising and falling after each kill. If you didn't hit a pumpkin they would fly off screen and the hole would be boarded up, once all holes were boarded up the player's game would end and a score tallied up.
Zombie's would periodically come up through holes and block pumpkins from rising out of the holes which would take 10 hits in order to defeat. Each Zombie's death would also break a boarded hole bringing it back into action. The skulls would rise and either shoot a lazer to destroy a boarded hole or shoot into the sky above and block a hole off permenantly with rocks.
There were a number of animations and FX implemented in order to facilitate these mechanics with lazers, zombie hand animation and wood being boarded up by ghosts. There were background animations of a witch and ghost with animated fog and fast moving skyline in the graveyard behind
